Airbus is using Siemens' LMS Samtech Caesam CAE software to create a stress analysis environment. The software replaces their 400 in-house tools. The analysis environment named ISAMI (Improved Structural Analysis through Multidisciplinary Integration), is used by over 50 worldwide suppliers and 2,000 stress engineers providing consistent structural analysis and certification of Airbus’ A350-900 plane.The success of ISAMI has also led Airbus to expand its use to the A350-1000 and A320neo aircrafts.
